Procurando questionar a centralidade do papel do curador na arte contempor\u00e2nea, Gabriel P\u00e9rez-Barreiro foi selecionado pela Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Bienal com uma proposta que distribui o poder de decis\u00e3o e d\u00e1 prioridade \u00e0s influ\u00eancias entre processos e artistas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No intuito de rever o uso de tem\u00e1ticas nas curadorias, a 33\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o nasce de um \u201csistema operacional\u201d alternativo que privilegia o olhar dos artistas sobre seus pr\u00f3prios contextos criativos. Sete artistas de diferentes origens, gera\u00e7\u00f5es e pr\u00e1ticas art\u00edsticas foram convidados por P\u00e9rez-Barreiro a conceber, cada um deles, uma exposi\u00e7\u00e3o coletiva selecionando seus pares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dessa forma, a Bienal ter\u00e1 sete exposi\u00e7\u00f5es diferentes, curadas pelos artistas: <strong>Alejandro Cesarco; Antonio Ballester Moreno; Claudia Fontes; Mamma Andersson; Sofia Borges; Waltercio Caldas e Wura-Natasha Ogunji<\/strong>. As exposi\u00e7\u00f5es ser\u00e3o complementadas por individuais selecionadas pela curadoria geral.
