A contagem do Omer vai de Pessach a Shavuot (a Festa das Prim\u00edcias) e \u00e9 um per\u00edodo de luto no qual n\u00e3o se permitem, por exemplo, festas. Lag Baomer \u00e9 a exce\u00e7\u00e3o. Nesse 33\u00ba dia de Omer, os judeus se casam, fazem festas, paradas e comemora\u00e7\u00f5es de todo os tipos. Tudo porque, nesse dia, cessou a epidemia (praga) que afetou os muitos alunos do Rabi Akiva, um s\u00e1bio muito querido e respeitado na hist\u00f3ria judaica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Em Israel o Lag Baomer \u00e9 considerado feriado, ent\u00e3o os parque se enchem de visitantes, piqueniques e atividades ao ar livre.
